The direct shred casting line machine is a complementary assembly that operates in conjunction with GBM casting lines. The GBM casting line can form multiple continuous sheets of product cooling and cutting the sheet into ribbons. The Direct Shred machine takes the ribbons from the GBM casting line and continuously shreds them. The product is delivered by way of a troughing conveyor to the customers’ subsequent process(es).
The casting line direct shred machine will produce shreds of varying length, width and thickness based on customer requirements. It is a perfect complement to the GBM casting line and is easily moved by way of casters. This mobile feature allows GBM customers to produce burger slices, direct shred, and continuous shingled slices all utilizing the same GBM casting line.
